Reopened in October 2023, The Radical has quickly become a
cornerstone of Asheville’s River Arts District. Fusing bold art, industrial
charm, and rich history, it stands not only as a design-forward
destination, but also as a symbol of resilience having weathered a
devastating hurricane and rising to serve the community by sheltering first
responders, providing free meals, and operating as a vital supply hub when
it was needed most.
We had the pleasure of collaborating
with our dear friends at Suomi Design Works,
whose visionary and eclectic interiors reimagined the space and set a new
benchmark for boutique hospitality. Their design helped transform The
Radical into a true destination.
Source Direct was honored to
provide custom framed showers, barn doors featuring antique mirrors, and
tailored tracks and pulls, crafted to complement the vibrant energy and
renewed spirit of this remarkable space.
