Moxy Times Square

Moxy Times Square is a 612-key Marriott lifestyle hotel carved out of a tight Manhattan footprint. The design team at Stonehill & Taylor needed a bath package that delivered the brand's high-energy aesthetic - moody mosaics, exposed metal, brass detailing - at a value-engineered price the ownership group could underwrite.

Source Direct partnered with the design team from schematic through construction administration. We engineered the shower enclosures and custom metal screens together, value-engineered the package without sacrificing the design intent, and produced shop drawings the GC could build to without RFIs.

The result: a guestroom bath that looks like a custom build but installs like an in-line product. No finger-pointing in the field, no rework, and a finish package that has held up across millions of guest nights.

"We had the vision, but no one knew how to design and build it. Source Direct was a good partner in adjusting the details to protect and enable the design intent — they understand they need to be at the table during the design process, a rarity amongst manufacturers in this industry."
